All your shopping, eating & drinking can be done in Whistler Village; right at the base of Whistler Mountain! (~10 min walk from the Fairmont!) There's a TON of places to try and so sharing a few of our faves below:

Eats
| Splitz Grill - Our favourite burger in town!
| Hunter Gather - A more casual eatery serving up some hefty meat!
| Quattro - A good spot if you're in the mood for some Italian food!
| Araxi - A more fine dining option with a good oyster happy hour!| Cow's Ice Cream - 100% a must go! Located right in the heart of the Village, the smell of the store is worth it in itself! (they also make some great t-shirts!)
Drink
A ton of the bars are located right in the heart of the village! As good hosts do, we've gone and tested out a few for you:
| Merlin's Bar & Grill - Located at Blackcomb base next to the Fairmont!
| Whistler Brew House - Brewery right in the heart of the village!
|Longhorn Saloon - Located right at the base of Whistler Mountain, think Apres Ski vibes but in the summer
| Amsterdam Cafe - A more Whistler Pub vibe which plays some decent bangers!
| Dubh Linn Gate Pub - If you're in the mood for a Guinness!
Although Whistler is predominantly known as a ski town, many of the trails are open in the summer for hiking. If you plan to go up Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain, you can purchase a sight-seeing pass which gives you access to lifts and the Peak-to-Peak Gondola.
We highly recommend taking the lift up Whistler Mountain and going up to the suspension bridge for some incredible views!

There's a bunch of Sightseeing & Adventure to do in Whistler! Sharing a few recommendations below.
| Peak 2 Peak Gondola - Head up Blackcomb or Whistler mountain to do the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, the worlds longest unsupported span Gondola across 2 mountains!
| The Sasquatch Zipline - If you're feeling a little more adventurous, zip trek across the mountain instead! (Mer & Dan Haggerty pictured after just conquering the Sasquatch)
| Bungee Jumping - Not for those scared of heights, or adrenaline.
| ATV Tours - Take an ATV Tour through the mountains!
| White Water Rafting - Paddle down some waves!
Whistler has 5 major lakes (Alpha, Nita, Alta, Lost, and Green), all within walking/cycling distance from the hotel - note some are further than others. The lakes have swimming docks, and grass/beach area to relax.
| Lost Lake: easiest access from town and the Fairmont, great for hiking, biking, swimming & picnics as there is a large grassy area. It's also the warmest of the lakes! (Tip: get here early before 10 and it tends to be pretty empty!)
| Alta Lake: best for paddleboarding, canoeing, sunrise/sunset views. This lake is located at Rainbow Park, which is a local favorite for its wide beaches, grassy park, volleyball courts and incredible views of the mountains.
| Green Lake: The coldest of the lakes! Right next to Niklaus North Golf course, it's a great cycle for the view & scenery w/ a dramatic turquoise colour due to the glacial silt.At some of the lakes, you can rent paddleboards, kayaks & canoes.
We 100% recommend renting a bike! (for those who can cycle)
Cycling from lake to lake is a great way to explore the local area. There is a
Valley Trail which runs throughout the entirety of Whistler with clear walking/cycling paths around town! (The lads - Lawrence Webb, Elliot Webb, Dan Haggerty pictured next to Green Lake)
If you prefer cycling for sport, Lawrence Webb frequently trains for triathlons & iron men here, so he would be happy to provide some recommendations :)
Whistler is Canada's premier golf destination allowing you to challenge yourself while enjoying the mountain views & dodging some bears! (V Webb modeling)
| Fairmont Chateau Golf Course - As part of the fairmont you can book a discounted rate through our room block here!| Whistler Golf Course - Unfortunately this is closed for the Summer of 2026 for renovations. But the driving range remains open!
| Niklaus North Golf Course - Located right next to Green Lake means you get some beautiful lake views whilst playing!
Outside of Whistler, there are a ton more courses in Squamish & Pemberton.
